Doctorate Degree in Theology the Doctorate Degree in Theology is a two-year course of study. This course looks at the life and teaching of the Early Church and then on how the Early Church functioned in establishing both the life and mission of the Church. Year one of the doctorate in theology course is based on an analysis of the Book of Acts to apply the life of Christ, and to learn the priorities and focus of the Early Church. The first year of this course looks through the first twelve chapters of the Book of Acts to see the development of the Early Church, and the priorities of teachings that reflect the gospel message. The second year of the Doctorate in Theology is based on understanding the missions and function of the Early Church. The Book of Acts depicts the purposeful spread of the gospel to many nations and people groups and shows how the Early Church was developed and given direction by the leadership of the church. With this develop, the student will get a look at Early Church life and how the church embraced the mission of Christ, and His purpose for pursuing church growth.
